hey guys, I am needing a recording interface for my Mac. I'd like something either USB or Firewire. I would like it to be a higher quality interface (Mackie, Digidesign, Presonus, Motu, etc.) Allow me to do at minimum 4 symultaneous tracks. If it involves a software change, that would be cool.
What do you recommend? Im playing with roughly $1000.00 to $1500.00 for the interface and a USB Keyboard.

I think that this guy can help you with any Mac stuff, he is a wizard
from : localhost/your email to Shane McFee- he is a big time Mac user, and btw, his father is John McFee of the Doobie Bros.
not sure about the price on your side. but what about a digi002?
I would definately think about a digi002 rack, a motu 896, a mackie onyx, or one of the new tascam interfaces that have been getting good reviews.
For your budget, definitely a digi002 rack. Not only is it a good unit, it comes with ProTools, which is the industry standard for a reason. If you want to be serious about your recording, you need ProTools.
yep digi w ptools is right up your alley
im not a PT bigot, so its more of a recomednation than it sounds like
