I've got a '66 Mustang on temp loan from a friend while he borrows my Strat. Can anyone tell me what the slider switches are actually doing?
one switch for each pickup...ON/Off/out of phase
Thanks Chris!

Very welcome!
Those guitars are fun to play for a while but I get tired of hem pretty soon...Im not sure if it's the scale of the fact that the necks are just tiny...I opwudl like to try a fat neck Mustang of Jagure once just to see what it feels like. That one's pretty damn clean to be a 66...nice looking guitar indeed!
It's got a couple of small bumps and bruises, but I saw one('67) at GC that was in worse condition and they wanted $1400 for it. Overall it's in really good condition for as old as it is and you can tell that it's been played by the wear on the neck and frets. I know what you mean about the size of the neck, fun for a while but it's just too dang small. It's set up with a VERY low action and the frets have been dressed down to the point of having to have them replaced. But it does play pretty well and the pups are very nice, chimey and articulate, pretty low output.
