Hey there!

I´ll try to save some money for a cool amp.

The tone I´m looking for is the more darker one like these samples of Greg Howe. It should not sound exactly like his sound...but this direction.

Today I´ll gonna check some out but I don´t think that the store will have these 2: Rivera Chubster and Bogner Shiva.

I need a cool combo. I checked the Shiva samples on the bogner site and they had EL 34 tubes and it was awesome, didn´t liked the 6L6 though!

But Rivera seems cool to me too. I could not listen to any clips on the Rivera site, cause they are updating their site atm but in a german music forum somebody postet a short clip with his Rivera (a combo) and it sounded awesome and he didn´t even cranked it.

Which amp could do stuff like this better?

Also, I need a nice clean sound..jazzy stuff should happen as well

Or is there another amp? Some people said, I´d like some Mesas because I want this creamy, soft and not edgy overdrive/distortion.

Having owned a F-50 recently, and currently owning a chubster, I'd have to say a MESA would suit you much better. That first clip is total classic MESA/Boogie.

F-50 is alot of bang for the buck, and the clean channel is just incredible.
