Hi I'm a proud owner of a SC-200 ( from : localhost/and was wondering if any of you know it or similar and have replaced the Duncan pups with another pup in the bridge? Which one did you choose?
I'm considering the Seymoure Duncan Duncan Distortion SH-6! But I am little in doubt if I should get the Trembucker version of the SH-6 or just the standard humbucker?
I believe Carpenter uses the trembucker version of the JB SH-4 in his?
But would either be equally as good?
Thanks in advance for your replies
Miki
Anyone tried, have or uses similar guitars.
The ESP is without a floyd rose though but if it's similar sound with either versions I will get the regular one I think, seeing that is much easier to get hold of.
I have a custom as well. I want the same crunch but more bass eq wise!
Will the distortion fit the profile?
Thanks

I would either say No. The Custom has a very tight bass and sounds darker than the Distortion. The Distortion has also a tight bass, but sounds brighter.
As far as the trembucker spacing goes, i think that should be the standard spacing.
If you take out the stock humbucker, does it look like a standard ? The trembuckers have a wider baseplate, and the quot;legsquot; have 3 screw-holes on each side.
Seeing that I have a standard JB in the bridge, I believe the guitar is ready for a standard Duncan Distortion. But I'm kinda confused about your comparison between the Custom and the DD! I have not heard the DD yet, but there must be someone else who disagree with the abovementione analysis of the two? Or is this the common stance?
Thanks
