Got a Yamaha APX-7 today with hardshell case for $250.00 Cdn.
For anyone who saw my thread yesterday it's the same one I had to reset the neck on.
I've always loved the APX series and can't believe I finally own one.
I was looking at it last night wondering what they were gonna sell it for,then I wondered how much they would sell it for as is without any repair work to it.
thankfully when I got the neck off there wasn't any surprises inside.
All I have to do is reglue the neck and bridge,rewire the pick up and reset the fretboard.
Piece o' cake.I left it at the shop or I know I would muck with that first before anything else.I'll bring it home on Monday and should have it together by next weekend-can't wait.

Good score John. Yamaha makes some underated guitars. The one you re-finished the neck for has been my favorite for years. What color is it? If you're up to the challenge, there may be some beautiful wood underneath the finish. I know there was on mine.

It's an orangey colour,I think all I'm going to do to it is up the tuning keys Feitenize it and inlay the neck.
I think I have the pic thing figured out,I couldn't even attach them to your address last night.I got frustrated and gave up.
