It comes out that my father has made a guitar as a hobby. He doesn't play guitar but he works wood quite nicely . I've tried different pickups on the guitar but I'am not particulary sure which one I like the best. I would like you to suggest what pickups would you use on it only knowing the specs.

ONE block of mahogany neck and body (yes... this is true)
Ebony fingerboard
25.5 scale (22 frets)
Wide, Tall frets (SRV style)
Schaller Wraparound bridge
Deep chunky neck (like a baseball bat)
Body it's 1-3/4'' deep.
It has two humbuker holes, Neck it's closer to the bridge than the 24 fret position. (In a 24 fret style)

I don't mind if you suggest specific models or just general characters (type of output, magnet, single/double coil.. etc)

EDIT: I am interested mainly in clean or slightly overdriven tones. Nothing related to extreme distortion. I love detailed, slow picking, catching all the nuances of the vibration of the string. I'd like the pickup to be very sensitive to my picking. I'll be playing either with the pick or with my fingers. I ussually play bass notes while I am soloing or playing rythm with my band so very well detailed bass frecuencies is important (I don't mean bassy tone, only well defined ).

By the way, this is the guitar on my avatar . Here you have a picture before it was finnished.

Without knowing what kind of tone you´re looking for you could wind up with any pickup from any manufacturer and they´d all be right..... knowing that would help immensely to narrow it down a bit

You are right, Zerb... In fact I was thinking to coment it in my first post but I've forgot. I've edited the first post including this.

By default, JB bridge and 59' neck would be an ideal choice =)
