Well? Could I use a slave out, ect.
There are switchers out there that let you A/B into a single cab. Same company (can't remember the name) also makes a box to A/B two cabs off one head.
I run a peavey 5150 and a boutique head through my marshall cab, though it works as a stereo cab, one amp uses the right 2 speakers and the other amp uses the left 2 speakers.
What you need is to look at this site.
I bought their HS2 Head Switcher and love it!!!!!!!!! i run a 5150 in one channel and a Classic 50 or a JCM 800 in the other channel depending on what i'm doing, into 1 cab. The one thing you can't do is use Delays in the amps effect loops as when you switch over the delay effect could damage the output transformer on the amp. It is a great system but you really have to double check all connections before fireing it up. The HS 2 runs off a Boss pedal adapter and i duct tape the adapter to a power bar along with the amps cords to the same power bar. That way if the plug gets pulled all power is lost and not just the HS2. I also tape the adapter plug into the unit so it has less chance of coming undone.
you can only use 2 tube amps the HS2 is not for solid state.....

That's a great idea for me as I have a 4x12 enclosure with only 2 speakers connected right now. So, when I get 2 more I can wire them seperate. Sweet.
However, what I was wondering is if there is some way to run an amp through another amp then into the cab? And I have only 1 requiset- that is doesn't blow anything up.
Like could I go from the slave out of the first amp into the effects in part of the effects loop of the second amp. There by haveing one's power amp and the other's pre?

That's a simple slave/master setup.
Just run the slave out into the effects loop return of the second amp....and make sure that both amps are plugged into their own cab or you'll blow the power transformer on the amp that isn't connect to one.
A Headbone lets you run two heads into a single cab.

I biffed my original post. The Cabbone does one amp into two cabs, the Headbone does two heads into one cab.
i´m planning to that when my gt8 arrives, running the both of my head into my cab, but my cab is stereo i guess that i only need an A/B switcher ???
is there a switch or gadget that is able to switch, blend two amps??

Loooper.com - They make a whole series of A/B-Y boxes.

Dang, I only have one cab. I'd like to try my Mesa's preamp - then slave out of Mesa in to Marshall's in Effect loop to get the marshall's power amp. Anyone have any experience on how this would probably sound? Good, bad, thick/thin, vintage/modern?
Also, If I did this which controls would I use to adjust the tone?

If you're 4x12 is wired in stereo you could run one amp into each side (once you get the other speakers).
The master amp's (the Mesa in your example) preamp would control both amps, so it's gain, tone, and presence will control both amps. The slave amp's (the Marshall in your example) preamp is completely bypassed....the only knob that should still work is the master volume.
If you want an example of what a Mesa preamp sounds like into a Marshall power amp, pop in Metallica's Master of Puppets or And Justice for All.

Thanks! That is such a cool set up! I just need two more speakers now.
OK, another question. Does anyone know how I can talk my wife into letting me buy two more speakers when I just bought 2 governors, and a Mesa?
Ya know, cabs are relatively cheap. Not saying that you shouldn't spend money on an AB system, but why not just get another cabinet that's compatible with the other amp?
