can someone with a highway 1 strat do me a HUGE favor and take a real close up CLEAR pic of the saddles on it. i need to see which style quot;fenderquot; is engraved in the saddles the larger style or the smaller style.

I don't have a picture of a Hwy 1 bridge but I do have some info for you. The lettering on the Highway 1 is slightly larger than the lettering found on the US Vintage bridges (used on the American reissues and all Custom Shop Time Machines). The Highway 1 bridge is made by Ping (Korea) and is the same unit as used on the Mexican Classic and Deluxe series strats. The US bridge characters have a tighter font than the Ping bridge. I have some pics of my '69 Time Machine attached. I had a HSS Highway 1 and I remember comparing the two bridges and that is what I remember. Hope this helps.
