Considering getting a Hayseed Head. It is based on a Vox AC-30 and with a few options includes the AC30-4 preamp, which uses and EF86, in addition to the standard Topboost circuit. Comes with a 1/2 power switch and is all PTP wired and the builder also doe the cabs. The head is under $1000 bucks, probably closer to 900.
Has anyone purchased or used one and what is your opinion of the amp? Any concerns? I have been thinking of a new CC AC30 head, but reliability seems to be a big issue.
