Make no mistake it's an awesome guitar....and I wish I could keep it around to play when it struck my fancy....tone/playability is phenomenal, but jes pullin it out once in awhile would be a waste of a fine guitar IMO ..no matter what I always end up back to a Gibson of some sort it seems...the necks..the characteristic Gibson sound....the scale length..the TOM bridges...they just quot;fitquot; me better...When I got the Firebird I was like quot;uh-oh..this doesn't bode well for the McCartyquot;

that's a really good price on the buy it now....too bad I a) have more gear than I need, b) don't have that kind of money c) could never convince my girlfriend that I needed it

I'd love to have a McCarty, if I ever buy a PRS that's what it will be. I just can't pull 2k out of my savings for it right now, I'll be buying furniture and putting up 6 months rent next month . Good luck bro, it's a beaut!

Damn....if that wasn't sunburst I'd be on it. I want a damn whale blue one if I pull the trigger on a McCarty....although I'm afraid I will like my LP's better too.

that is a really good price though, but i also have no need to get it. if i did, theres no way i could convince ANYONE in my family.

Heh..Whale Blue is my fave color too..or at least used to be...my first PRS was a 10 top Custom w/birds in whale blue.

I played a Whale Blue McCarty when I went lookin for this one..unfortunately it was the worst of the 5...talk about shrill...that thing was like an ice-pick. The 2 best sounding ones were the ones with the ugliest colors (for me anyways) Figures...

i think the BIN price is a steal given what it would cost new and the primo condition it is in .. your ebay write up is very 'trust inspiring' and the free shipping with BIN is icing

BTW..I would condsider a trade of equal value or trade w/ some cash...I'm looking for a R7 or R8....Les Paul Customs ...Firebirds of various types (with hardtail, no vibrola)....SG reissues (again hardtail)...V's, Explorers..ES 335....high end Gibsons...A REALLY good LP Standard or Deluxe (current model..not a maple neck) is also suttin I'm very interested in
