Hi guys!
The pawnshop at my town own a used SD livewire pup but he didn't know which livewire pup is it. So can anyone tell me what the different in the appearence cos its look just a black box with the end of the cable being cut off , so its got maybe 10cm cable. At the bottom its got sticker says BRIDGE. And can anyone tell me the tone of livewire like??
Thanks!!!
It'd probably be easier to tell once it's hooked up. The LW Metal will have a rediculously high output, and sound distorted, even on a clean setting.
Go here from : localhost//website...ard/hummer.htm and download the audio samples of the two, get them to hook the thing up in something and compare.
On the sticker that says bridge, is there a code? For example, my custom custom has a sticker behind it with SH-11 on it. Maybe if the code is there you could tell what model it is.
Phil
Nop its just say : bridge
How bout the tone are they good?
iam not a metal or shred guy, i just love sweet humbucker tone.

Then STAY AWAY from them! Most reviews I've read about them are pretty let down ones.
Actually the LW Classics sound nice. Kind of sterile, but that's expected of actives. The LW Heavy Metal's though, are not your type of pickup. Rediculously insane output, and it's just pure mids.
