Hey guys/gals,
i just bought a fender tele with a b-bender, while i was there, i also put in a SD Five-Two in the Bridge, what do you think would be a good middle and neck pickup? i want to make it as COUNTRY sounding as possible... any reccomendations?

Why not just do the whole 5-2 set?

the 5-2 is a little sedate for me, im looking for a little more spanky sound.. like possibly brad paisley?? so im thinking of trying another duncan set or going to a rio grande - muy grande or a fralin blues special... any duncan comperative to those?

I have a fralins in my neck of my tele. Still My favorite neck pickup.

I do have a fralins BS in the bridge with good twang and spank, but I haven't heard everything.

the middle is good to use somthing clean glassy and brite.

the reason is those types of middle pups--actually help out the posistion 2-4 QuAcK

I usually prefer a full size, low output, paf type bucker in the neck, but still enjoy a great sounding ,traditional, covered tele neck pup.

As far as the neck pup goes, I've had great success with the Dimarzio Twang King and Duncan Antiquity. The TK is a nice blend of trad tele, strat neck and mini-humbucker tones. Just a fantastic neck pup. The antiquities I've used have been in the same camp, but perhaps a little more quot;refindquot; in tone. I really like them both. Another good un isthe 1/4 lb neck pup. One of my all time favorite tele neck pups for soloing.
