Congrats bro. Is this your 1st I presume? Are you nervous?........good luck. Let us know how it went.

thanks, B....the only tiem I EVER played in front of a crowd in a band setting (other than a straggler here and there who's come to one of our practices) was in the physics band in the high school talent show...back in 93...so yeah, I'm nervous and ****e...lol...our first as a band and MY first..period...trial by fire...hehe...

Good luck to ya! Enjoy!

itll be kool - my first gig was crap yourself time, but it went well

Hope the same goes for you!

Cool, well keep it simple and don't over think it. Go out and ROCK the house!!!!

Break a leg!

as long as I don't break a string

hey shreder75, i checked out your band's site and i am very inpressed with your covers. nice work. one side note.... mrs. robisnon isnt by the lemonheads. I think it was by Simon and Garfunkle originally, but i am most familiar with the Beatles' version. I figured you probably knew that already, it just caught me by surprise that your site said you were covering a lemonhead song. ANYWAYS... very solid music there, keep up the good work.

thanks CLINT...we have it as the lemonheads cause they actually did a cover of the simon and garfunkle original...so we're doing a cover of a cover...lol..

thanks for the compliments =)

you might be nervous right before you go on...but if you're like me, once you hit that first note or sing that first word...you just start having fun!

I'm nervous already HOSS...lol...this place we're playing at is a big friggin' deal...alotta big local bands have played there....so it's like trial by fire..I;'ll be the one ralphing in the bathroom before we go on...lol..

then I'll probably be like angus young and channel all that nervous energy in odd forms of dance...hehe

I've not played in a lot of bands, but used to help this one band out when they needed a guitarist, and I was always nervous about the first 15 minutes, but then after that and while the gals were dancing and wiggling, I was getting into the rest of the night.. hehe.. Now it still bothers me to play in front of people, but again, only for a little while.. I don't know why, just does.. but it's worth it.. Have fun above all and remember, music was meant to be enjoyed and not a drag .. If it becomes a drag as work does in a lot of jobs, dump it and start over with another band or talk to the band and change it.. It's supposed to be fun, so have FUN!
Tim

totally agree, INDY...I already go to work everyday..my band shouldn't be the same hum drum thing....you put work into it but it shouldn't feel like work!
