I miced up my Bluesbreaker combo and tried to get some decent sounds of it though did the mic limit everything because it isn't really a decent one:/ But anyway, came out playing a little Hendrixy stuff and thought I could share it with you guys to get some opinions.
Recorded with Telecaster Alnico II Pro neck -gt; Ts-808 -gt; Bluesbreaker. I could unfortunally not crank the bluesbreaker...so TS had to do the overdrive.

Nice tone... But I think you really need a decent mic. Your set up could sound amazing but in the recording you can really hear many frecuencies mushed.
I have a sure sm57 and it's a great mic.
that's exactly what I think myself... it all sounds so flat when my mic don't catch the all frequencies. Great to hear someone else confirm the same. I'll really have to get a decent mic(been reading about the sm57 that you mentioned) and a tube preamp for it
