i was wondering if anybody new the ohms output for the S/D SH-4 JB HUMBUCKER BRIDGE. or know were i mite find this info on my owne...

I have two JB pickups, they measure:

- 16.58K
- 16.97K

... and yes, they sound very hot.

pup also know as HB102B..

The HB102B is not the SH-4 JB but it´s Duncan Designed counterpart.... the specs are similar, and the tone is similar, but they are definitely not the same pickup

I had an old 80's JB that measured like 17.05 or something... that thing was nuts!

Also, Ohms is a measure of Impedance (similar to resistance). Volts (or milivolts) are a measure of output. Comparing similarly constructed pickups by impedance can tell you which is hotter, but a higher impedance does not necessarily imply a stronger output.

Yes it is a duncan design... used out of a jackson, didnt even know if it worked or not it was cheap...The ohms are showing at 19.85.... i used this pup to replace a stock no name B.C.Rich pup... it sounds ok not to high or to low pretty even but not as loud as the stock one... the neck pup is louder. the ohms on the stock is 8.0... is there a way of measuring output..i have it wired right...i guess i was exspecting more punch or something...thanks for the info tho guys... kinda new to this mechanics thing...
