For the bridge position, which pup is warmer, tighter and has more low end and output? Thanks!
The JB; but you're comparing apples and oranges, imo.

I would say more like apples and mangos. And apples are crunchier IMO. And mangos dont taste good [to the ears]. (there is an inner message in those last to sentances)
Hmm, I have had the Air Zone and the JB in the same guitar, and I like them both a lot. The Air Zone is a warm pickup-it has more lower mids whereas the JB has more upper mids, and more output. The JB has more character to my ears, with the Air Zone being slightly brighter on the top end-it gets good harmonics, but I found myself lowering the tone control a lot. Both pickups are very similar in the bass frequencies.
The JB wins out for me, because I love its unique voice and versatility. But I am keeping my Air Zone and it will go in another guitar. It really is one of DiMarzios best pickups.
