RD

Sounds good to me, maing.
You shake the fire out of those strings, don't ya?

So, when can I buy a CD? Tell me how much to paypal and what paypal address to send it to!

Ah, man, Rev.....you always have the coolest chops! THanks for sharing!

Excellent, thanks!

WOW! That was great. I'm hearing some Angus, Pagey and Jimi in there and definitely Roy. My brother's favorite. Master of the Telecaster, lol. Great stuff, thank you for posting those tunes.

Stroke-stroke-stroke!

Your ego is the right size man!

I love that raw growl and wail you make with that Tele plank!

Great stuff, Buck.

Wow, that's a pretty gutsy tone you get there Buck! Is this into a Vibrolux?
Cool

Just listening to a couple more tunes. Man, that's powerful stuff! What do you use to get that really juciy overdrive?

This Tele has a 9 piece Alder Body-Its just an Affinity Tele by Squire,- it originally sold for $99.00 street price-- at Sam Ash in 2000,I removed the White top coat and I left most of the clear undercoat. I stripped the finish off the fretboard by scraping back and forth with about 10 new Razors.. (dont dig under) scrape-baby-scrape! like sweeping the floor.

I added Fender Vintage Reissue Tuners. Leveled and crowned the frets and rolled the neck edges for a worn in feel.

The Bridge on these can be trouble-- moving saddles and rattles-- So I use Crazy Glue inbetween the fingers of those string saddles.. because they'll move around and Buzzz and rattle if ya don't--Because the saddles all become one now-- this Crazy Glue trick then suddenly caused the tiny allen screws to loosen and fall out. so I use Locktight* on them. -- just be sure your Intonation is dead on prior to the Crazy Glue.. but Acetone will loosen it for latter work..just keep Acetone away from finished paint!

I use a 250K volume Pot, A 500K Push Pull Tone Pot and .47cap (Its a Neck On switch)
I use 1953 Wiring with a .013Mfd cap on the first posistion quot;Neck Darkquot; 3-Way switch Posistion-
I use this instand darkness alot-- its on my Hey Joe cuts.. Its a instant Deep Neck tone very usable--The original schematics for 1953 used a .1mfd and others used a .47mfd-- those are just too dang much-- even a .018mfd was too much-- but the.013mfd-- is KILLER!
The middle Posistion is quot;Neck Cleanquot; the Bridge Is Bridge-- and the Push Pull turns the neck on while in this Bridge posistion -- In case I want 2 pup's on -- But I rarely do--unless I want Zep or Steve Cropper sound.
that guitar was a God Send!

I've never played a better guitar quot; For Mequot; since!

Broadcaster Bridge
5-2 Tele Neck

Top Loader-- (not a string thru body bridge)

The amp when you hear Keyboards in the song was a Hot Rod 2x12 Deville on the Red Gain Channel at quot;3quot;

Without Keys was at The Blue Cafe,
That's 2 Amps
A 1974 Vibrolux and a Blues Jr.
A Route 66 Pedal with the Drive and Compressor both on. and an Ibanez Dealy / Echo -- those new Silver ones.

Pick is Herco Nylon Heavys-- the pick creates alot of that Tone too.. it has a pleasant attack!

Hot damn, Donzo! I love the whole idea of the modded Squier! I've done the same with an Epi LP Jr, it kicks too!
Oddly enough, I also use a Route 66 pedal, but I don't generally use both sides at once. I'm gonna play around with that
And...I use Herco nylon picks! I use the gold ones, but spin them around and pick with the knurled grip side. Awesome bits and harmonic content!
Are you my brother?

Don, how important is reverb to your tone?
