So I got my Charvel traditional the other day and was very dissapointed. First, one of the strings was broken, it did not come with a trem bar, and the set-up was terrible. I bought it from AMS, who I have always had great luck with, and normally would of returned it for a new one, but it was their only one. I'm thinking that the guitar showed up in a warehouse somewhere, and was shipped to AMS for sale. I think this because that guitar has not been available for some time now. Anyway, I took it to my local shop for a set-up, and when I picked it up, the guy told me it has issues. The neck has a flip in it, and needs at least a grind and polish to fix it. I'm sure that I can get done under warrenty, but I do not think I am. I'm probably just going to send it back. I would still like another floyd guitar to mess around with. I saw those OLP MM1's on AMS. For what I paid for the Charvel, I could get an MM1, plus totally upgrade it with new pups, fret polish, setup, whatever. Has anyone played one or have any opinions on that, or even the Charvel for that matter?
quot; The Neck has a Flip in itquot;......Ehm, what exactly do you mean??? This term is new to me (Having a Flip?? I only know drinking or doing a flip )
All of the Charvel Pro series axes (Journeyman, Traditional, Standard, Model A...) were an unbelievable deal for the cash (although also al played after the discontinuation about this time last year)....
