A number of years ago I tweaked the negative feedback of my BF Pro Reverb...I raised the 820 ohm feedback resistor(Can't remember to what but probably 1k or 1.5k?)until I pull the chassis? and I installed a presence pot in place of the 100 ohm resistor to the 5k and .1 cap like on a 59 Bassman/Marshall circuit...Lately I feel like the amp is a bit too noisey(hiss)due to the changes I've made to the feedback circuit of my amp...
My question is this...
Do you guys stay with the stock 100 ohm/820 ohm values or do you increase the feedback resistor values in your own BF Fenders...I'm going to pull mine out tomorrow and probably dc the presence pot....What do you guys like in your own amps?

I understand that you can't send me something u don't have. I work in retail and i know you probably get a lot of displaced blame but its going on 3 months and i would like a more specific answer then esp keeps cancelling. Why do they keep cancelling. I've heard a rumor that due to popularity by word of mouth or by any other means they have a much higher demand than there pruduction can handle and so they arent as far behind as they would be they are lowering the standards on the guitars they ship. Is this true because i ordered my guitar because of their great quality and sound and i dont want to wait all this time to get a knock off quality axe i keep my self well educated and i know its not just u that have this problem its sold out everywhere. Im not gonna wait all this time and still cancel the order. I hope im not being putting on the end of the list and i know that 1 of the guitars on ur next shipment is mine. I get these thank you letters from you saying i have the choice to use other dealers but thank you for choosing musicians friend. If the consumer is #1 then it shouldnt be to far fetched to have answers to give the consumer thats been loyal enough to order from not only esp but from you.
Thank you,
CJ

I got asked by a friend to do a minute or so clip for backing on his skydiving video, he wanted something quot;fusionquot; sounding with a big quot;kickquot; on the intro cause that's when he was jumping out of the plane. I'm not a fusion player by any stretch, I fear leaving the minor pent! He seemed happy with the results. This was done on garage band again, I picked up Logic Express and will be trying it out on some clips in the near future. Let me know what you think. I'm a rank amateur so keep that in mind before the flaming...
fusion attempt
I like it. It's mellow but powerful.. definitely this will work for a skydiving romp Nice job on playing and tones too

Are they too hot or aggressive for the blues? Which would get closest to the sound of a hot '59 without as much of the high end?
The C5 is the quot;hot '59 without as much of the high endquot; of which you speak!
The Custom is a great pup and my favourite of the two, but (even when you clean it up) there is a hardness in the mids that doesn't quite work for blues.

I almost launched my biscuits when I saw this:
from : localhost/cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...MEBI:ITamp;rd=1
Not surprisingly I'm the high bidder. If I do get it I'll sand it down, fill in a few cavities and ,(combined with a neck I'm looking at),will turn this into the Spawn guitar that I have wanted to do for a long time.

You know those tones that, even the first time you hear them, just floor you, and you have to have that sound (or the closest thing to it)?

Ok, so I've got tons of pickups for sale. Any of the problems the pickups have do not affect sound at all.
1.) '59n. White, uncovered, Great condition, braided lead about 12quot; long. $55 shipped
2.) 5-2n. Great condition, original leads about 12quot;. No cover. $45 shipped.

I know that it is comparable to the SH-1 '59 but with deeper bass and higher output as the SD description explained Thanks

Well i've finally gathered up the courage to put my LP up on the sale table. It's a 2002 H-150 CM in Almond burst serial number S1 1905. It has an aftermarket Tone-pros locking tune-o-matic bridge, Pearly Gates neck and Custom 5 bridge pickups.
Basic LP standard specs, Mahogany neck and back, rosewood fretboard, moderatly quilted THICK maple top. Fretboard and body cream binding (bound fret ends), chrome hardware, MOP Trapezoid inlays, Medium jumbo frets, 10quot; radius, Grover Rotomatic tuners, Dunlop straplocks.
It has a few scratches from three years use, but nothin that's noticeable from three feet away, and in no way conflicts the playability. I recieved the guitar brand new in 2002 from Ed Roman guitars (not the best dealer choice in heinsight) in a Black TKL case, which will be included.

Anyone know anything about Sanatoga Guitars? There are a few dozen on eBay. I never heard of them before. They have LP, strat and tele models.
They are very inexpensive -hovering around $100. Are they just another crappy knock off or can they rate against a Squier or a Pacifica, etc (i.e. low end bang for the buck)
