I just loaded MS Office 2003 and have found that when I attempt to open
documents (files) saved in Excel I get the following error.
Error message: Windows cannot open this file. quot;To open this file, Windows

I have a spreadsheet in which 900 cells contain a paragraph of HTML and text.
I need to delete this paragraph from every cell. How can I do it all at
once? Find and replace doesn't allow it.

I need excel to count the number of rows which contain both of two
conditions in seperate cells. the condtions are a specified number AND
a specified letter, if the row only contains one of either conditions i
need excel to ignore it, but if it contains both then count it as one.

I have two colums, Column A (Val1) and Column B (a number such as 456). If
I use the expression =max(b1:b10) I get the highest value for that column,
but what what I need is the adjacent cell name such as Val1.

I have ytd information in columns A-L that are subtotaled by expense
classification. Subotalling is done in Pivot Table. This information is
imported into the spreadsheet via macro. In columns M-P, I have monthly
information that is imported via Vlookup. I tried have the Pivot Table
produce both ytd and monthly results, but I could not get all of the ouput in

I am trying to test the accessibility of Excel for manually working with
PivotTables. I can't find a way to manipulate the tables using just the
keyboard, and if I place a field (using keyboard or mouse) in a PivotTable, I
can't find a way to delete it or put it back into the PivotTable Field List.
Using the Data menu wasn't any help, either.
