Can someone inform me how to put Month, date, year and day of the week in
cell. I'd like to insert for example, 05/18/06 Wed

Can anyone tell me how to plot a relative frequency histogram (using
midpoints). I know how to to make a histogram using the analysis tools, but
can't get Excel to put in plots for midpoints....

I want to create a drop down box that displays a rebar size. upon selection
of the size, in the output cell designated, I would like it to display the
area of that rebar size. I can't use a simple if statement because there are
10 different size and you can only use 7 nested if statement. what can I do?

I have a copy of Office '03 Student and Teacher edition, but have never
bothered to install it. Are the improvements in it actually worth the
effort to mess with it?

I am trying to set up several data validation drop-down lists that are
conditional based on the selection in a previous cell. I got instructions,
but saw a note that this may not work in Excel 2003. Does anyone know if
this is possible? Let me know if I need to provide more detail on what I'm

I created an Excel spreadsheet and saved it to a network drive. When other
people edit the spreadsheet and try to save it they get a message saying the
file is set as read only. They are directed to save the file as another name.
The save dialog box comes up and saves the file as a quot;copy ofquot; the original.
If you right click on the file and go to properties the read only attribute
