I LOVE the look of a Firebird, but has never had the chance to play one. I got the money, but none of the shops in my area got this guitar. I would like to hear your opinion on this guitar before ordering one.

So what amps do you guys all like fairly well that are priced reasonably low? Lets keep the ceiling at $400.

I got word today taht my f 50 won't be done at the tech(one of the tubes wasn't working, so we diceded to have him look at it) for a couple of weeks. They said it was because they were really busy, but I don't really have a problem playing through my peavey amp for a while, but it's still a bummer that I won't have the glowing goodness of a tube amp for those few weeks

any of you guys have, had or played any USA epiphone guitars? just looking for your thought on the quality. I came across a 1982 epiphone spirit that i can't stop thinkin about and am going to pick up tomorrow.

Anybody buy a new pup recently, and see the new quot;pink slipsquot; that come with them? These new SD instructions are great! Just got a new Custom 5 trembucker today, (thanks Lew), and the instructions are a four page fold-out with a great illustration, tons of info, and cool diagrams. I can't see how anyone couldn't wire up their pups with these new instructions.

Now I know there are so many passives compared to actives, and that the tonal range is really quite large to make a very specific decision.

I just installed my new Invader on my guitar and for some reason the volume is really low. Everything is wired right. What could be wrong? I followed the schematic form the site and the volume is really low. Please help.

Edit: Anybody know where one might source on DVD or Vid?
