So, plain and simple, let me know which one you like the best. Assume the black pickguard will be black pearloid. Kisekae didn't have that option.

What IC would you suggest?
Hey, I'm messing around modding my MXR Distortion , changing the caps, diode configuration, and clipping style, and I'm thinking I might change the IC. What would you recommend? How would a JRC4558 sound in a hard clipping circuit? After doing some research, I came upon these possible chips:LM741 (stock)
JRC4558D (TS808, SD-1)

Bridge pickup for Jackson KVX10
I'm looking for a SD pick up for a KVX10, but I'm more or less stuck between the JB and the Distortion. I like the JB, but I'm looking for something a bit meaner and a bit more round and full, if that makes sense. The guitar is made of alder with a bolt on maple neck and a rosewood fretboard, which goes into a 5150. I play mostly Metallica and Megadeth and other bands of that same sound. Any suggestions on either pickup, or perhaps a different one?Cheers!

Silverface to Blackface ?
I have a quot;68 bassman that I would like to convert to blackface specs. I remember somewhere Lew had a really clear list of what was involved. I was wondering if some one could post that info again in this wonderful new amp forum.

Swimming Pool Route
I would like to hear some thoughts on the routing of the pickup cavity. Swimming pool route versus conventional. I would guess from a physical stand point there wouldn't be any differance as long as the electricals don't touch the body. From a weight point of view, it would be lighter. I was wondering more about the sound? Any Ideas?
