I have a E.V.H. (evenly voiced harmonics) humbucker pickup from the S.D. custom shop to put in the bridge of my strat. this Strat is an ash body, transparent finsh, with an all maple neck.

i picked up a block logo phase 45 at guitar center today and wondered how to date them and whats the general feeling on them as well as if anybody mods them at all if theres any???

i have a mexican stratocaster, bought it 2nd handed, it has a dimarzio evolution humbucker in the bridge, i wanna change the neck pickup, i was thinking that it has to b a seymour duncan, but i still don't know which one, im into all styles of music, including jazz, im not looking for a jazz super pickup, i want something bright and strong when on clean, and tight with punch when on rockin, any suggestions on which model i should buy?

Im about to order a neck, and I dont know what neck radius size to get...The neck on my USA strat (not replacing its neck) is 9.5quot;, and I LOVE the feel of this neck...The possible radii available for this custom neck is 10quot;-16quot;...Obviously, 10quot; will be closest, but how will it differ from my #1 neck?

Hey guys, I've been offerd a Charvel Model A for my two Deans. I've been planning to buy another Ibanez/Strat stylw guitar because I prefer them much more than the LP style Deans I have. I've read some reviews for the Charvel and people bought for between $700 and $1000 new. Is this a high end Charvel? How are Charvels in general? Are they known for being metal/shred guitars in general like Jacksons? And what is their relation with Jackson/Fender? And of course, has anyone tried one out? I read that getting good clean tones is difficult due to the active live wire pups, I expect I'd a pup change and maybe a coil tap like my Satch. Thanks.

I've been playing my Antiquity II Strat pups for about 3 months now and I continue to be amazed by this pickup. Yeah, they do the clean chimey thing really well, like SRV on Lenny, but damn are they great for blues. I was playing Tightrope with the band they other night and I couldn't believe how good the guitar sounded with just a little bit of dirt from my TubeScreamer.
Of course I play through a Dr. Z Maz JR and that does help but still. I had a stock American Strat and those pickups sounded like toys compared to these.

i just ordered an unfinished 1/4 sawn maple neck for one of my teles and i plan on giving it an oil finish since i fell in love with the oil finished neck on the charvel evh art series i tried the other day. i was wondering if anyone could tell me a good oil to use (i keep hearing gun stock oil...what brand etc?) and also, what's the proper method for putting it on etc. thanks.

I'm looking for pickups for my Epi Les paul std.
They should give me a real warm and vintage sound to play blues -gt; clean and dirty.
