Looking for a neck Hot Rails in black without the lip. I'm afraid I might have to go new for one of these, or settle for the Cool Rails. But I thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

A mate wants me to fix the hum problem he has on his bass (2 single coil pickups) and I was thinking maybe I could make one of the pickups rwrp. Is this simply a matter of flipping the pickup around or do I have to flip the magnet inside?

In black, preferably, but I'll consider other colours. I want to build 2 X2N/Super Distortion hybrids for my Rhoads.

Im going to upgrade my strat. I am going to buy a Hot Rails Neck and I want a Humbucker in the Bridge(routed already). Im thinking about two pickups.. The JB and the PATB2 Distortion Trembucker. I want a pickup that would match in sound the Hotrails better(Enough gain and not much highs... just enough for some harmonics)... So what do you think is better??? Another Question... should a leave the middle pickup as it is or shoul I buy a more powerful single?? Thanks for your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
