This may be a silly question that I may or may not already know the answer to. But I would like some more ...... quot;Official/Experiencedquot; points of view.

A while ago I posted a thread asking for help with my delay pedal in my FX loop. What I found out from various people was that the pedal I was using was designed for different signal levels (-10db) than what the FX loop was running ( 4db) and the signal coming from the FX loop send was overdriving the pedal's circuits, causing that mushy fuzzy echo sound.

Is it a good match? Which do you have - the Alnico 2 or 5? Can you explain the difference? Thinking about this set for my LP before they're gone.

Why the Alnico II instead of the SSL's? How is the sound different from the SSL's? Are there more or less bass mids or treble?

My frets are wearing fast on my strat because of lots of playing time. I think this is also taking a toll on my intonation as some frets have little to no wear compared to others.

I have an Ibanez 470, HSH, with 1 volume, and 1 tone. Should I get 500 or 250 CTS tone pots?
