I was looking through one of Dan Erlewine's books at a friend's place the other day and read a section that struck me as interesting. Buzz Feiten was explaining how he shims the necks on all his Fenders to have a slightly negative neck angle. He claimed this improves the bass response and makes the guitar more resonant as a whole.

Duncan Distortion and JB
Both are zebra, regular spacing and in very good condition ... less than a year old. Plenty of leads left.

Tele neck pickup mounting question
I want to get a new pickgaurd for my tele. I'm trying to decide which is the best option. Is their any advantage to having the neck pickup screwed to the pickguard or can it be mounted without having to have screw holes in the pickguard?

Does a Gibson Nickle Cover Fit Duncan?
Anyone know if a Gibson nickle cover will fit over a SH-1? I have an old set of covered Gibson 57's (which I don't care for) I'd like to use the cover for a Duncan '59.

plz recommend 12 string acoustic
Can anyone recommend a nice sounding 12 string acoustic guitar for under $1,000? I'm a fan or Martins, but the HD28-12string costs like $2200!!! The Martin DM12 costs $949 on MF, but I feel like I'm paying too much for laminate wood. Otherwise, for under $1,000 there's only low budget 12 strings by Fender and Takamine. I like Gibsons and Taylors, but there's no offering under $1,000... Are there any sweet sounding acoustic 12 strings out there made of solid woods and not HPL or cheap woods?
