What's a fair price for a used 2001 Gibson SG Special?
I'm thinking of buying used, something I've never done before.

I got a Marshall TSL122 that i've been gigging with. I just can't quite get the OD on the lead that i'm looking for. I want more of a raw meaty warm tube drivin sound.... umm, harsh, I like brite too, which the amp does do. I've been tweaking like crazy but can't quite find that sweet spot on the Lead channel. I found the sound on the crunch channel and the clean i can deal. I've been dropping down the gain to below half and it still doesn't get that breakup that i want. The OD is too.... well it almost resembles SS (God forbid). O, i'm playing an epi korina SG with a JB in the bridge and i'll probably get a Seth for the Neck. I guess i'm asking if i should get a mod with, say, voodoo labs, or get a different amp, or maybe use an eq or booster to shape the amps tone, or buy a different amp. I kinda wanna get an amp that's lower wattage so i can drive it more, cuz i play at around 3 for shows right now. I am really intrested in Mods too.....

Curious question. I just purchased a new Fender Blues Junior on Friday. It has been making a sputtering, crackling noise ever since I got it home. It does it even with nothing plugged into the input jack. Just wondering if this might be a bad tube or something else. Thanks for your help.

I picked up one of these beauties earlier this week and I have to say I am extremely impressed. I have discovered the wonderful thing that is the ibanez tube screamer model and have run across what I think might just be the perfect tone.

I bought a warmoth strat off ebay a couple months ago. It's a chambered mahogany body with maple neck. Originally it had a 59(n) and custom-custom(b) with no pickguard and the guitar was friggin loud (way louder than my buddy's les paul) so I switched out the 59 and got a Alnico Pro 2 for the neck and absolutely loved it. Finally I got my pickguard from warmoth hoping that I'd be able to level out the volume of the custom custom. No luck, I've got each of them about a 1/4quot; above the pickguard and the custom custom is still loud.

Looking to upgrade my project strat. Ideally, I'd like white with long leads.

just got the final mix of the song that Richard and I are submitting to the SD compilation disk...i think the vocals are mixed much better now as well as the rest of it...what do you guys think?

How can I tell what year my DK2 is? There is a sticker on the neckplate that I assume is the serial number. (A sticker???!!) Anyhow the numbers on that are 311305260. Perhaps the 05 in the middle is my clue? Please help!!

This thing is so damn much fun!!! I have to admit that right now Im pretty bad at it, and it's kind of a pain in the ass to set up, but I dig it! After I get the hang of it a little better I might get one of those quot;in linequot; units from Rocktron!
