I have a 97 american standard strat that came factory wired with a jumper between the middle and bridge positions on the 5 way coming from the lower tone pot. With my standard bridge pickup and the factory wiring, I had bridge tone control but nothing on the middle pu. I should also note that the tone pot looks a little different and has a notch type of feel once it winds to 10.

Seth Lover Neck/CC Bridge
I've got an Ibanez AWD82T (semi hollow). I play in a jam band...mostly like jazz/rock/funky ish kind of music..I've been told that the setup of a seth lover neck and custom custom bridge would kick ass. I know I will get an incredible warm tone. I want to make sure that it would be bright enough to cut through the mix with a nice distortion (not heavy) sound. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Difference between the McCarty and Custom 22?
I'm looking into both models and was wondering if any owners or someone with some first hand knowledge could enlighten me? As you may or may not know, the Heritage H150 was returned due to binding issues. The quality control issue pissed me off to the point where I'm not replacing it (the fact it made it thru Heritage AND the dealer to my door step).

FS: Gibson Explorer
1985 Gibson Explorer /w factory Kahler Flyer. The tuners were replaced a while back with chrome grovers, the neck pickup is a Dimarzio Fred, the bridge is a Gibson Dirty Fingers. The original Gibson hardshell case has wear, but still does it's job. It's handle has been replaced. The guitar itself has been used, but not abused. It has some finish checking as well as a few paint chips.

Which low output 'bucker for hard rock/metal?
Here's a spin on the time-honored quot;Pick a Metal Pupquot; poll which I don't believe I've seen done on here: which of SD's low-output offerings gives a good metal tone when pushed by a pedal or amp (yes, I know that's kinda backwards, but you know what I mean)?

Where do I find an amp kit like this ... ?
OK, so I've heard all of the great amp kit projects you guys are kicking out. I want a kind of custom amp / tweed thingie without the custom cost. I thought maybe I could make one from a kit ? The best would be a 50's tweed (wide pannel twin eg) 30W 2X12 w/ bass, mid, trebble, on/off vol and a pine cab deep enough for some Celestion Alico Blue speaks. Am I dreaming ? How hard would this be for a first timer ?

Jimmie Vaughan Strat
I got a new guitar last summer: RG-2570. I am happy with it. However, i would like to have a second guitar: more vintage tone, and easier to tune. This way i can switch from half-step down to standard and what not. My friend, quencho092, suggested the jimmie vaughan strat. It looks like a good guitar, i'll try it out somewhere. I was looking at some of the specs and it looks great, except i don't know about the pickups. They are:2 Tex-Mex™ Calibrated, Overwound, Single-Coil Strat Pickups (Neck and Middle),
1 Tex-Mex “Hot Bridge” Single-Coil Strat Pickup (Bridge). I've never heard of these. Please post any opinions on the guitar or the pickups. Thank you.

Help rquested again for my AR300
First off thanks for the great suggestions you gave for last time around for helping me select a set of pup's for my Artist. The A2P/PG set I picked got me in the ballpark but I think I need something different for the bridge.
