Just bought this old Guild Acoustic...
the serial # is 169168, which lists it as being made near the end of 1977. Its a standard dreadnaught body, and has no markings as to a model #. So does anyone know of the models back then?

Iron Maiden
I just got the early years DVD and let me tell you, it is awesome! I was especially diging the Show from 83 in Germany. They sound so great live. I wish I knew what and how they got their guitar sounds. they both have huge pedal boards and in The Trooper, you can hear Adrian switch something on for the solo that gives it a LOUD volume and gain boost. He turned it on a bit too early in the song though

For Sale: PRS Santana SE w/ Grover Tuners and Straplocks
I have a black PRS Santana SE in very good condition, which is the model with the chrome-covered pickups and no pick guard. Everything on it is stock, including the pickups, and it is the standard tremolo edition, not the hardtail bridge. The tremolo is perfect on this baby....way better than the one I have on my Strat. I did install Grover Rotomatic Locking Tuners and Dunlop Straplocks. If you don't have any straps with the straplocks on it, I can throw in the upgraded strap (its a Dunlop D-38 strap that looks just like this one below - only red and black). I am looking to get $350 for the guitar, gig bag, and upgraded strap. I live in Killeen, but do travel to Austin and Georgetown quite frequently. You can call my cell phone at (254) 247-4126 at pretty much any time with any questions. You can also e-mail me at bserwatka06@yahoo.com with any thing else. Use the links to look at the pictures.

who can sell me alnico 8 magnets ?
Yes i tried alnico 8 today and it is something i will never forget ; it sound modern like ceramic but without the harshness , full sound , bass mids treebles , clean and round pick attack , it actually sound like a keyboard to say how unusual it seems to have a pickup witch have no fault or week point , but sorry for some ; it is not a vintage sound .
So i want other alnico 8 bars !!!
