Just saw this...

I read a post on the amp pages in regards to amps not being single coil friendly. I started thinking about my own gear Strat thru Mesa Mark IV sounding weak while my Ibanez 2 HB's sounds like I would expect and what I want.
I currently have some Fender Texas hots in the Neck and middle, with a JB Jr in the Bridge.

These are truly some of the best amps out there. Great clean and great dirty to high gain.

i have a jb in the bridge of one of my guitars, and while an awesome pickup, it always seems a bit fluffy and undefined in the lower end to me (this is in a basswood guitar with maple neck, into a marshall)

I just had an Ant I Tele bridge and Ant II Firebird neck installed in my CIJ '62 Tele (the one Falstaff junior is playing in my avatar).

Here's a nice article directly comparing the top modellers in the biz...of course..one person's opinion...but very detailed and informative nonetheless (surprising results for a couple as well).

well...what's yours?
