Has anybody tried the Dimarzio Evo 2 bridge yet? how would you compare it to the original Evolution?

Got chance of buying a full shred, anyone using one? Thrash/Death metal type stuff.

Hi I basically would like to know the general tonal properties of these string brands.

So...my boy Big Boy Bob sends me a PM telling me that he was at a local shop where they had a Mesa/Boogie Blue Angel head for sale.

Well my GT-8 arrived today! A day earlier than I thought, which was a nice surprise!

I recently bought a semi-hollow Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion. It´s very nice guitar as is, but perhaps some modding should make it completely outstanding for my needs. It says quot;fusionquot; in its name, implying it can be used for any kind of music. I believe I should make a quot;fusionquot; also betwen wellknown pickup-brands and put a Dimarzio Fred in the bridge, to get that somewhat nasty Satriani-sound from the bridge, and put a Duncan 59 in the neck, to get a softer jazzier and more ES 335-like from the neck. Both pickup blended would be some brighter Larry Carlon-like sound - I hope. I will also install a coil-split so I can split both pickups, to get Strat and Tele-like sounds (again; I hope).
Thoughts? Would this work?

Well in my wisdom (I almost said wiseness there...) I got a TB10 instead of an SH10 I needed because the JT6 Floyd I have has standard string spacing... And well since upgrading the trem is on the list...I figured I may as well do it with the money I have left.

Is there a place on the 'net that sells used pedals? I'm in the market for either a Boss GE-7 EQ or a Demeter Mid-Boost Fat Control but trying to cut the price...

I have a megaswitch and a Brian Moore with 2 SD HBs, a CC and APH2...
I'd like to wire it like a MusicMan Axis Sport, which has the idea here: from : localhost/is, what confuses me is the the Music Man uses Dimarzio pickups, and the wire colors on those are all screwy...
