Does anyone have any ideas on what quot;currentquot; Fender guitars might have any appreciation in the next 15-20 years? Mainly i'm talking about the current Classic Series, Deluxe Series and even Standard Series. I know the American stuff will start to go up in value in probably 10 years or so, but will the MIM guitars be right behind them or be left in the dust and be selling on Ebay for $250 from now on?

Les Paul body weight and pickup choice
I've read the recent threads about differences among the 59's, APH, PG, Seths, and Antiquity HBs. I'm trying to pick a set of pickups for an older Les Paul Classic with nickel hardware that is quite light in weight and a for a recent Les Paul Studio that is considerably heavier (although lighter than most Standards I've handled). Is there any consensus about which PAF-style pickup might be best suited for a fairly light vs. heavier LP? I guess you can throw the Jazz, JB, C5, and CC in the mix if you'd like, and you can consider the music to be blues, blues-rock, and classic rock in flavor.

Presonus Acousti-Q preamp FS/FT possibly
I've got an acousti-Q preamp by Presonus that's an AMAZING tube preamp/blender but I don't really have a need for it, and I was seeing if anyone had anything they were willing to trade? I've got a little cash I could throw in if it's not quite even, in your favor. I'm really looking for a Fender Blues Jr.....but I'll entertain other offers....these things are going for about $250-$270 on ebay. So we'll consider it around there. Only two issues, don't have the manual anymore (but I'm sure it's available online) and I don't have the cable for the footswitch, but it's a standard stereo 1/4'quot; to 1/4quot; cable, so I'm sure you can find one cheaply without a problem. If anyone has any offers, I'm up for hearing them!

X2N and Invaders
Hey All. I love the Invader bridge in my LP, but if I was to replace it with an X2N, how different would it be? I play mostly metal, alot of Lamb of God influenced stuff...and the Invader handles that great. How would the X2N do? The body of the LP is either mahogany with an ash top...or swamp ash...I'm not sure..is there an easy way to tell?

I think I've finally nailed the LP tone I want
I think I've done it boys!...and gals. I went back to th beginning and put the original neck bucker back in my Heritage H-150, only this time I used the original A2 mag from the bridge (Ed Roman Black/Back model, cept actually a CC) in it and boy does it sound sweet. The neck bucker originally had an A5 in it, and I suspect the pickup is really a 59, but anyways. I also took out the Ceramic mag I put in the bridge to make it a Custom and replaced it with the newly acquired A5. Boy do I love the open throaty tone I've got there now, shame I didn't try a Custom 5 earlier. After all was said and everything was wired up I plugged it into my 5150 and amazing enough...NO **** UPS THIS TIME!!!!! I ripped on it for about an hour and my LP has never felt so alive.
