I have a RG350DX with a H S H pickup configuration and would like to convert it to just a dual hum config. Where can I get an exact duplicate pickguard with this new pickup layout? Even better how about a prewired new pickguard complete with pickups, pots and a coil tap switch? Any leads would be most helpful. Thanks.

Its the Randall version. Comes stock with a Vintage 30. I'm a long time Greenback user so I am inclined to change it but since I don't know what impact a sealed environment will have on tone I think I am going to wait a bit before any big changes.

i just got the m-audio firewire 410 for recording, and ive got an sm57 hooked up micing my guitar amp. im going to also use it in the future to mic the rest of my band. what im wondering is, should i use the phantom power for the sm57? what is it for? also, it looks like the m-audio has 5 sets of outputs, can i hook up my creative surround speakers to them? i still want to have the surround sound for my games, and i dont want to use 2 soudn cards. i also dont want to purchase monitors. i currently have it setup so that the m-audio is the default recording and midi device, and the creative sound blaster extigy is default playback audio device. i would like to make the m-audio my sole sound card, but still keep the surround sound. is it possible?

Hey everyone. I am reallly tired of listening to my POD through my headphones all of the time. Should I go with a pair of flat response studio monitors or an Atomic amp to amplify my PODxt? Which setup would sound better? I am willing to spend at max $300 on studio monitors. How much is an Atomic amp for the POD/other preamp modelers? How loud do the Atomic amps get? Keep in mind that I am also in college and have neighbors.

Im getting a warmoth jackson style neck for my custom this week, maple with an ebony fretboard, and was wondering what i need to paint. I know the maple needs painting/clear coating, but do I need to put a clear coat over the ebony fretboard?

hey guys, i was wondering which pickups are very responsive and dynamic to your touch; for example, the way you are plucking the note different ways with a pick, or finger picking, how it would sound as compared as you would normally play, etc. I was thinking baout buying a antiquity for the neck and a seth lover bridge for my paul, but i would like a pickup(s) that are very responsive and dynamic depending on how you play. i play mostly rock and jazz; no metal, country, blues (but jazz blues!), etc. thanks guys
