There's a huge range of ASAT guitars and quite a few Fender Teles. Based upon your experience, comment on the differences - the pros and cons they have over each.

what would you suggest for classic rock/metal tones..i dig early gary moore(the metal years)..dio..whitesnake etc..currently using an explorer pro with gibson 498 and 500t's...they're .ok but pinch harmonics don't really jump out and they sound a little thin..thanks for any advice.

I'm trying to decide whether to swap in a pair of A2P's I have in place of the stock Ibanez H1 pickups in my AR250 Artist. Nobody seems to know the specs on the H1's, so I thought I could at least get an idea how hot they are compared to the A2P's.

Hi ya'll. I have just changed the stock pickups in my RG42, and I am going to replace the 5 way switch with a 3 way and also change the pots. The schematic I got from this site suggested a .047 on the tone pot. What difference would the .047 make from the .022?? Thanks in advance for your help. Oh one other question, should the output from the volume pot go to the recessed pin or the shell in the jack? The schematic shows it going to the long terminal but my guitar came stock with it in the jacks short terminal which is the outer shell.

I've been wanting a 2 x P90 guitar for a long time, but then I thought I could throw in a pair of quot;humbucker shaped quot; P90s in one of my Les Paul. (Which means that I don't have sneak in yet another guitar case through the front door....)
