Ok, shorting the red and white wires to ground cancels out which coil, north or south?

What color would you call this Paul? I am looking for the official Gibson color name.The first picture looks like Cherryburst. I don't know about the other one, though. I'm assuming that's the same guitar in both. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

$45 for a double black bobbin 59B that measures a nice strong 8.53K on my meter! I always like having at least 1 neck and 1 bridge 59 here at home...This pickup sounds great in just about every guitar I've tryed it in...I've had one in a strat and even my Gibson SG...I haven't tryed the 59B in my Love Rock and I thought it would sound great in that guitar...

I'm think I'm going to wire the humbuckers on my guitar for the spin-a-split setup found on the tech page ( from : localhost//website...techtips.shtml) very soon but I got a quick question. It might sound foolish but I have no previous experience with wiring so I don't know a lot yet.

Here's some great magnet info I found. Its buried in tech info about hall-effect sensors, but still, a good read. Look in the box called quot;Technical Informationquot;, and click on the subject called quot;Hall Effect Sensing and Application Book Complete filequot;.

Man i just came home from the local store with a set of Duncans for a great price.... These new pair sets of Humbuckers are a great value.... I saved about $75 Canadian by buying a JB/Jazz combo over buying them apart.... That is really cool!!!!!

Will I have to reverse the C5 hot and ground in order to avoid phase problems with the mid and neck(blend pot) Laces? I've heard you have to do it when combining Duncans and Dimarzios, not sure about with Laces tho.
