Where are you guys getting all of your backtracks and plug-ins, loops etc.?

I bought a used Marshall AVT150H yesterday. I was wondering what cab I should get. I know the AVT cab makes sense but at the Marshall website it says quot;For an even more imposing set-up, the AVT150H can drive standard 1960 4x12quot; cabinets.quot; Should I get the 1960 or AVT cab? Does anyone own these? Thank you.

Anyone know where to get a different color jewel light for my Mesa Tremoverb combo? I would like to switch to a different color than green. Perhaps a bright blue, white or purple.

first i played 10's when i got my strat. I liked the tone, but for some reason i wanted to beef it up insanely.I put 11's on it, then when i got used to them i put 12's, then 13's. My 13's were extremely hard on my hands so i dropped back to 11's. There was still some brightness missing from my strings so i backed down to 10's again.

what are some thoughts on using a pearly gates neck and a seth lover bridge in an alder strat body guitar with a flame maple top and a rosewood neck?

There's a new Guitar store opened up recently near me, so myself and the other guitarist in my band decide to check it out.
While we were there we checked out the Engl Screamer 50 head and combo.

I have a couple of pickups in my Tele that are microphonic. What causes it? Will repotting the pickups cure the problem?

I was wondering, since i have researched this alot over the past few years.....I'm from the UK, and SG's cost ALOT of money...But in America, because of the currency...they are alot cheaper, by about £200 at least. Does anyone know where i can buy one from???? Alot of sites don't seem to ship to the UK....Thank you

not too long ago there was a thread about delay pedals making the helicopter noise in the FX loop on mesa rectoverbs and single rectifier models. someone mentioned a simple mod that changes the FX loop from a parallel loop to a series loop and that would fix the problem.

My JJ 6V6 and ECC83S's are here for the HRD and I'll be putting them in tomarrow. This is my first tube swap. Do I have to do the burning in of the tubes. I think I read somewhere to leave the amp on for 48 hours or keep a low music signal running through the amp during that 48 hours or something like that. I've pulled the power tubes out so I'm guessing the preamp tubes just pull out like the power tubes also?

I'm looking into getting a synth. Not an instrumental synth, but one that make odds bleeping noises and such. I'm hoping to spend around $500, and I was wondering if anyone here can help point me in the right direction. Thanks.

One last question about digital recording. I'm trying to decide what usb interface to buy. I'm hopping not to spend more then $200. What are my best options. I want great sound but I mostly wont to keep it simple and not break the bank.

I've been having problems for quite some time with our neighbor and their CB radio hobby. The problem is that my amp (and everyone else's) picks up the CB radio transmissions, resulting in something similar to what happens on spinal tap. I've tried pretty much every non-drastic option to fix this, but since they're right next-door it's pretty much out of my control. Anyways, last night I was thinking, quot;Why not construct a Faraday Cage around the ampquot; that would eliminate pretty much any RF interference, and since i use shielded guitar cable, I should get fairly good results. I was curious to know if anyone else has had a similar problem, and what (if anything) they did to remedy it. I was thinking about building the Faraday Cage around my rack, or perhaps just creating a box large enough to hold a guitar head.
