I am frequently using the text to column function. However when I do this
and then Paste new sets of data into excel it performs the text to column on
all of my data using the delimiter that I had previously set.
It does this if I do it in a different worksheet or a new excel file.
The only work around is to completely close down excel, reopen excel and
start from there.
Is there a better way to prevent the text to column function from performing
on my pasted text?
You can do a Data / text to Columns with no delimiters and it won't happen,
but agreed it's a pain.
