I have Windows XP Home Edition. I've open Excel recently without any
problems. But now when I open it I get the dialog box that says quot;Preparing to
Install with Microsoft Office XP Professional with Front Pagequot;. Then another
error message comes and says: quot;The feature you are trying to use is on a
network resource that is unavailablequot;. Then I get another message that says
Error 176. setup cannot find the required files. Please advise.

Have you tried a repair installation of Office or Excel? That may fix the
problem.

The problem might be cause by a problem with the Installer itself and there
is a fix for that:
