I am trying to set up a sheet that will use my actual sales figures from the
last two years to project what this years sales might be. I have set up the
table and created several charts with trendlines, but, the charts don't show
actual dollars in the future. Can I do what I want in Excel 2000 or 2003?

do ;you want to extend the trend line to the future

after highlighting the grapsh
chartmenu-add trendline-options-forecast-choose no.of periods.
is this what you want.

As I indicated in my first note, I have already set up trendlines for 12
periods in the future. I can see the direction of growth. What I am really
looking for is a projected dollar value/amount based on the first 2 years
stats,
