What is the code in gt;format Cells for

297m²

ie #,##0 quot;m????quot;

The quot;squaredquot; symbol has been inserted via the Insertgt;Symbol method but I
can not copy and paste into the Formatting Cells code box.

Any Ideas?

try the custom format:

#,##0 quot;m²quot;

To get the quot;squaredquot; symbol you should hold down ALT and type 0178 on
the numeric keypad (don't use the numbers on the main keyboard).
