I have a spreadsheet with all values in $ and I need to convert it to
thousands ($K). Is there a way I can simply enter 1000 in a cell on my
spreadsheet, select all the values and divide them all by that cell?

Sure, try the following...

1) Select an empty cell

2) Enter 1000

3) Edit gt; Copy

4) Select the range of cells containing the values

5) Edit gt; Paste Special gt; Divide gt; Ok

Yes.

Enter 1000 in an empty cell. Editgt;Copy.
Select your values.
Editgt;Paste Special, check Divide

That should be...

1) Enter 1000 in an empty cell

2) Select this cell

3) Edit gt; Copy

4) Select the range of cells containing the values

5) Edit gt; Paste Special gt; Divide gt; Ok

Or maybe keep the value, but give the cells a custom format of:

(end with a comma)
