I would like to create a workbook with 52 sheets, 1 for each day of the
year.
I'd rather not create and name 365 tabs by hand.
Creating the tabs isn't the issue, I can set that option from the
toolbar, but the naming, 1 per day of the year, could be a pain in the
but maybe someone can help out?--

View this thread: www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=540753You could easily do that by putting the sheet names in let's say A1:A365 and
run a macro however I would strongly recommend that you avoid this, from a
spreadsheet design point of view it is not good. This sounds like audit hell
and if you use any formulas it could also make it very slow and almost
impossible to use.
If you are just filling each sheet with data you might want to consider a
data base program--
