I have a person using Office 2003 and she has a small problem with excel.
The double underline produces only a single line. She can't use the double
accounting line with an apostrophe because the cells have formulas in them
and the cell is longer than the number and she wants the lines across the
whole cell. Is there any way to get a double line all the way across the
bottom of the cell even when the cell is larger than the number in it?

Thanks so much,
Rose

Remove any border formatting in the cell and then, while the cell is still
selected, click on FORMAT in the menu and select CELLS. If necessary click
on the BORDERS tab.

In the box where you indicate where to place the line, click on the line
area below the word quot;Textquot; and in the Line Style panel, select the
double-underline format.

Click OK to exit.
