How do I remove the page number from the quot;page break previewquot; and yet keep it
in the quot;page break previewquot; format? I just want to remove the watermark only.
In short - you can't.
That's the whole point of the page break preview, so you can see where the
break lines are and in what order the pages will be printed.
If you don't want the page numbers showing, just go back to 'normal' view.
