Hi all,
I need help! When I type this: quot;01/08/2006quot; into the cell it
automatically changes into date format: quot;1/8/2006quot;.
When I change it back to 'General' formatgt;cellsgt;number the cell changes
to quot;38725quot; .
How do I turn off the automatic date format, so that my cell will just
contatain quot;01/08/2006quot; without changing to the date format????
Thanks
Select the cell or column, and rightmouse, Format Cells, Dates, and
select an appropriate format.
Hope this helps.
