It says it doesn't I think, but ther shortboard isn't supposed to either and I hear people can use it with their spiders without problems. The new line 6 floorboard express, I think it's called, looks pretty sweet.
I don't think that they will match up. Needs a different cable
Line6 completely changed their foot controllers for the newest generation of amps (Vetta II, Flextone III, PodXT). The new controllers won't work on old amps, and vise versa.
I don't know what the story is with the Spyders and using foot controllers with them.
No the new line 6 controllers will not work with the older Line 6 products.
Like the POD 2.0, Pod 1.0, Flex 1 amp; 2, and Axis 1 amp; 2.
But, you could always use a midi controller like the Behringer FCB1010, ART X11 or X15, Rocktron Midi Mate, Roland FC200, the Ground Control, and RFX Midi Buddy.
Look on Ebay. You can score some of these for cheap.
