Do the soapbar and dog-ear pickups just have different covers? I bought a p90 on ebay that was supposed to be a dog-ear, but it came today and it's a soapbar.
Yes, instead of the rectangle cover with the rounded corners the dog ear P-90 has well shall we say dog ears on each end of the cover. You can see them on on the Duncan website under the product section. Look at the antiquity pickups. You will find the P-90's the dog ear antiquity's is part numbers 11034-65 amp; -66 neck and bridge.
