I want reviews! Let us know what you got, what you put it in, and how it sounds!
1. Missing UGD hasn't made me naeaous enough... I need to hear about the free custom pickups
I wanna know too!!! I wanna know too!!! [little baby voice]
I am just gonna use my custom shop trembucker as a refrigerator magnet.
I got mine with a direct mount baseplate so I can mount it to my wall.
I'd be interested too, I heard there were some interesting things going on, mis-matched coils etc.
I got an EVH/Screamin Demon hybrid with an alnico 2 magnet, but I don't have a guitar to install it in yet.
Feel free to send me any spare guitar parts so I can start building my next guitar.
So, I'm going to stick DSS3's thread up here with a new title. List what you made and how it sounds....
Great idea DSS3!
I've got a super sweet dun-aged Antiquity P90 neck with A5 magnets in it. Schweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Can't wait to slap it into the Les Paul.

I got a 7 string custom/59 hybrid with allen head screws on the custom and slotted screws for the 59 coils. Only problem is I have to wait 2 more weeks for my 7 to arrive. Dammit!
I helped Will (leppermessiah, metal massacre guy with the schecter), design and install his custom pickup for his schecter. He got a JB trembucker with a 2% overwind and a nickel-silver cover plate. We Plugged it in and did a side-by-side comparison with an original JB that i've got loaded up in one of my guitars, and we were totally diggin his. Totally rippin pickup.

holy crap, thats funny
I've got an Alnico II Pro (b) with Antiquity baseplate and hardware, overwound (asked for 9.5, came out 9.2, not bad), double cream with a nickel cover. Sort of a cross between the EVH and a Slash Custom Shop model. I think it's going in my Les Paul standard, but we'll see.
That's it guys, rub it in some more...
But seriously, I would like to know how your experiments worked out.

I got a slightly overwound Classic stack for my strat bridge, with a twangbanger bottom plate. I have played it quite a bit in the last few days, and really like it. I am having one problem, though. Since I installed it in my guitar, the pots act microphonic when the new pickup is switched on. If anyone could help me out on what could be causing that I would appreciate it. I know the first thing I'm going to do is resolder all the connections, just in case a joint was cold, but I was wondering if there could be some interaction with the baseplate going on here. Anyway even with that problem, it is mostly what I had hoped for. I was going for a Tele bridge sound in a noise free configuration, that would balance with the SM1 that I have in the neck position.

Hey buddy, I think the baseplate your Classic Stack might need potted to prevent those microphonics. Keep it from touching any other metal, possibly with masking tape, and wax it. Is the ground wire still on it?
Zebra 10.36K antiquity with a shiny nickel cover. I'm gonna put it in my Les Paul Custom Shop Classic Plus....the peac0ck colored one with the quilt top.
