Is there a way to put two humbuckers in a Strat and get:

1. neck humbucker
2. neck single coil
3. neck and bridge single coil
4. bridge single coil
5. bridge humbucker

I couldn't think of a way to do it without adding a push/pull switch to split the coils in the #3 position.

Thanks! Lew

Thanks! LewHave you looked into a mega switch?

Hey Lew; This is one I've racked my brain on before. There just doesn't seem to be a way to get that #3 position with a standard 5-way. On the other hand, I think its fairly simple with a Superswitch.

Let me know, if you want to go that route.

Edit: quot; The Guyquot; was quicker on the draw - by milliseconds.

this may be a dumb question for this thread, but what's a superswitch? never ehard of it before.

Superswitch

EDIT Artietoo was quicker on the draw - by milliseconds.

Thanks guys! So no way to do it with a normal switch? That's a relief...I couldn't think of a way either. The Superswitch is probably the ticket. Stew Mac sells them. Never used one but I'd imagine it comes with instructions. I have a customer who wants this configuration and doesn't want to add a push/pull pot. Thanks again! Lew
